5 easy steps for weight loss

In this post I will talk you through 5 easy steps to help you lose weight.
1. First off set a short term goal for yourself that is realistic (e.g.. lose 4 pounds in 4 weeks) short term goals are easier for you to focus on as your end goal could feel to far away to reach. sticking to this will keep you more motivated a focused.
2. Make Healthy choices. Always be organised about what you are going to have to eat today, tomorrow and the next day. Doing this and prepping what you are going to have on certain days will prevent you from making rash bad decisions such as eating fast foods.
3. Be more active. If you find you sit down a lot with work then get up more. if theres an option to walk then take it. For example if you take the lift every day then stop and take the stairs, if you get the train every day but its only a 15minute walk then walk.
4. Don't make excuses. You and only you are to blame for the decisions you make. Try to avoid the habit of making excuses as to why you ate badly or why you didn't train. The most used excuse I hear is 'I had a rubbish day at work so had to treat myself' Don't fall into this trap, stay strong and say no!
5. Last but by no means least - a positive mindset. If you have this you can achieve anything. Don't let negativity get in the way of what could be a successful experience.
